Endless Legend 2 became the main surprise of today. This is a turn-based strategy in a fantasy universe and a continuation of the Amplitude series. Players take control of unique factions and lead them to dominance on an oceanic planet experiencing disasters. The basis of the gameplay is the development of cities, economy, diplomacy and battles on tactical fields.
The game is currently only available on PC. The developers emphasize that they are actively collecting feedback to improve the mechanics. Thus, the community not only tests the project, but also participates in its development.
A strong point of Endless Legend 2 is the faction system: from star knights to necrophages. Each offers its own philosophy and style of warfare, which affects diplomacy and tactics. Battles can be fought automatically or manually, controlling positions and unique skills.
Heroes are equally important: they develop, acquire new traits, relationships and equipment. It is they who are able to turn the tide of the campaign and change the fate of entire empires.
