Recently, Half-Life fans once again remembered the mysterious Valve project known as HLX. The reason for this was a statement by a Tundra Esports analyst.
degaz drew attention to posts about the fact that "the developers did not have time to make a new hero [Dota 2] because of Deadlock", and decided to share his information - allegedly, some specialists were really transferred to another project, but this is not Deadlock:
«Right now, most of the Dota 2 and CS2 teams are really working on a new Valve shooter. But this is not Deadlock, but a new Half-Life (aka HLX). Many Deadlock developers, as far as I know, have also been temporarily transferred to finalize the project, and therefore there was also a fairly large delay between patches there. The stage of basic development, apparently, is already coming to an end, and therefore the development teams will soon begin to disperse back to their projects».
