On Steam, it receives "mixed" reviews, with about 49% being negative. The negativity is associated with technical problems and more: not everyone is satisfied with the balance, and sometimes the game does not start and simply crashes.
At the same time, there are players who praise the DLC itself, but leave negative reviews and do not recommend buying it, like everyone else — they believe that the developers should first fix the basic version of Stellaris.
