First Steam User Reaches 40,000 Games on Account — Turns Out to Be a Collector from China

Valve's service features a multitude of games. Some individuals amass impressive digital collections.

Recently, the SteamDB database updated the statistics for the "collector badge," which Valve awards to owners of a certain number of games on Steam.

The first user to collect 40,000 verified games in their Steam library (without "profile limitations") has been registered.

It turned out to be a user from China known in collector circles under the nickname Sonix. According to the SteamDB calculator, the value of all games may exceed $600,000
