Starfield hasn't received widespread acclaim, but Bethesda is already preparing a new major project. When will The Elder Scrolls VI appear?
The company is working on a sequel to one of its key RPG franchises, and although 7 years have passed since the announcement, new information has emerged about a possible release date.
Insider eXtas1s stated in a recent video that Bethesda has "established" a release date for TES VI and is aiming for the end of 2027. He did not provide internal evidence, but based on the available information, such a timeframe seems logical.
The Elder Scrolls VI was officially announced in June 2018. Since then, Bethesda has released Fallout 76 and Starfield — the latter game will also receive a major expansion and, according to rumors, will be released on PS5.
The lack of new details on TES VI has long irritated fans, who are closely following every rumor or leak.
It is important to understand that the information is not confirmed: official details can only be reported by Microsoft and Bethesda. Although eXtas1s has accurately predicted industry events in the past, plans can always change.
If the rumors are confirmed, the release of TES VI at the end of 2027 could coincide with the release of the next generation of Xbox consoles. The game could become a launch product for the new device.
