Bethesda refunded an Xbox owner for the canceled Redfall DLC

A Reddit user with the nickname WestDraw3952 shared an image of a physical refund for the Redfall DLC. Yes, Bethesda actually sent out a physical check in 2025 - with the inscription "Redfall: Bite Back DLC refund."

The user clarified that the refund amount was $30 - the cost of the Bite Back DLC - and, apparently, it was originally purchased in physical format, hence the method of refund. It looks strange now: receiving a refund for a part of the game by mail, especially in the era of digital purchases.

The story of Redfall is gradually coming to an end. The game, designed to be a cornerstone of the generation, has become a symbol of bad decisions, and even the founder of Arkane criticized the closure of the studio, calling it "stupidity" and a "bad move."
