Silent Hill f is available for Deluxe Edition owners, and a video comparison with Silent Hill 2 Remake has already appeared online.
From the first frames, it is noticeable that the previous game from Bloober Team is not inferior to its competitor. Moreover, judging by the complexity of the environment geometry and the quality of textures, Silent Hill 2 Remake looks significantly better. This is clearly visible around the fifth minute of the published video.
But the Chinese team NeoBards managed to stand out in another aspect. Silent Hill f wins in terms of character animations, where the remake of the second part looks weaker.
Both games are created on Unreal Engine 5, which led to technical problems. The engine traditionally suffers from low performance: on consoles, including PS5 Pro, the native resolution is low, and the picture noticeably improves only due to upscaling.
The feedback on the PC version is currently positive. On Steam, Silent Hill f currently has 87% positive reviews after 1500+ opinions, which indicates a good start for the project.
