The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt continues to live thanks to the modding community. After the release of the official REDkit toolkit from CD Projekt RED, fans continue to improve the game.
A new mod from user kwest0rek called The Witcher III: Wild Hunt Remastered - NextGen adds 41 new models that have not been updated before.
Among the reworked items are: apples, bread, cabbage, grapes, watermelons, herbs, meat, roast pig and new types of pastries. All models received more detailed textures.
The author of the project clarifies that he is currently focused on food, and will later work on NPCs and animals — even the Next-Gen version requires improvements in these categories.
It is worth recalling that the popular mod The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project NextGen Edition from HalkHogan did not cover all objects. That is why kwest0rek decided to continue the improvements.
