It was assumed that by the end of this year, fans of "The Witcher 3" would be able to appreciate the cross-platform mod support function, but CD Projekt RED's plans have changed.
The developers of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt addressed the community and outlined a new launch window — 2026:
«We initially intended to release cross-platform mod support for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S this year, but we have to postpone the release to 2026. We apologize for the wait. We will share details closer to the release».
