The game will take players to a post-apocalyptic world with complex battles, spectacular techniques, and an expanded character customization system. The basis remains battles and cooperation with partners, but now the project promises more refined gameplay and an improved structure.
The developers emphasize that they are not trying to completely change the formula. Instead, they are developing the ideas of the first part: making the fights deeper, the world more extensive, and the plot richer. Everything indicates that Code Vein 2 will be one of Bandai Namco's main projects in 2026.
The premiere of Code Vein 2 will take place on January 30, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
