Developers of Ananta (formerly known as Project Mugen) have been actively releasing marketing materials lately. Questions about some animations arose before, and now their number is only increasing.
In Ananta, you can find not only elements in the spirit of Grand Theft Auto or Zenless Zone Zero, but the combat system and animation of flights on the local "web" are reminiscent of games like Sleeping Dogs and Marvel's Spider-Man 2. The segment with the spider robot evokes associations with Watch Dogs Legion.
Some are outraged by this, but there is another reaction — users, like diasgamedev, express the opinion that although Ananta is a "blatant copy", they would rather spend their money on such a project than on the "progressive" Spider-Man 2.
