Capcom continues to develop Street Fighter 6 and has introduced a new heroine who will appear in the game on October 15, 2025. Players will then be able to try out C. Viper, a character known from Street Fighter IV, returning in an updated form.
C. Viper in Street Fighter 6 is shown as the Director of Research at the SiRN organization, which is engaged in eliminating the remnants of Shadaloo. The character will be available as part of the Year 3 Character Pass, Year 3 Ultimate Pass, or as a separate purchase for Fighter Coins.
The heroine will receive two costumes: the first reflects her new role, the second repeats the classic look from Street Fighter IV. It can be unlocked with currency or by leveling up relationships in World Tour mode.
On the same day, a collaboration with the visual novel Banshee’s Last Cry (Kamai-tachi no Yoru) will begin, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the series. Players will receive a free episode in World Tour, decorative elements for the Battle Hub, and login bonuses during the event.
A new costume for Zangief will also be released on October 15. An addition to the update will be a collaboration with the group Cavalera Conspiracy, who prepared a special musical track inspired by the iconic fighter.
