Players were annoyed by the need to search for towers, and the opinion of the dissatisfied was taken into account.
The developers of Path of Exile 2 have presented a mini-diary dedicated to the upcoming patch. They decided to release several mechanical changes even before the launch of version 0.4.0.
Starting with patch 0.3.1, towers are NO longer needed to use tablets; now tablets can be placed directly into the map device so that bonuses apply directly to maps.
Properties covering an area of frozen/charged/burning ground now cover a much smaller area. At least 66% of ground effects currently covering the ground will be removed, and this value is higher on lower level waystones.
Also, in some cases, the difficulty of the runs may increase — the operation of map effects for bosses has been adjusted:
«We fixed several issues that caused the difficulty of map bosses to not affect many bosses with multiple forms, so a number of maps with deadly bosses will become more difficult as a result».
The update release is expected next week.
