User FPSthetics wrote on social media: "This looks insanely ugly. I feel so sorry, we were deprived of [the opportunity to get a remaster] from Nightdive Studios."
Developers from Nightdive Studios have established themselves as specialists in updating classics, for example, they were noted for the System Shock remake and the sequel's remaster.
Lead Development Engineer Samuel Villarreal reacted to his post with the words: "One can only imagine."
