The developers will tell the story of Yasuko, a peaceful peasant's daughter whose life changes when she finds a magic spear.
The girl's journey includes 12 missions, each of which "features cinematic storytelling, memorable characters, and increasing difficulty." The heroine will meet mythical creatures and make divine alliances.
The developers will offer to unleash the power of 12 new gods and new units — including Tengu, Shinobi, Samurai and more, to test 6 new maps for multiplayer games and battles.
The Heavenly Spear DLC for Age of Mythology is expected to be released on September 30.
