Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 with a bang. Square Enix has officially confirmed that players will be able to try out a demo of the game as early as 2026.
Game director Naoki Hamaguchi said in an interview that the demo will appear in the eShop before the end of the year.
"For players who are still hesitant, this is the perfect opportunity to experience the full power of the new console," Hamaguchi emphasizes. Details of the demo content are still being kept secret.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is the first episode of the trilogy, updating the legendary saga. In addition to modern graphics and dynamic battles, the Switch 2 version will offer the DLC FF7R Episode INTERmission starring Yuffie Kisaragi.
The full version of the game for Nintendo Switch 2 will be released on January 22, 2026.
