Terraria developers recently released a new diary and talked about further plans for the game. The release of the next "last" update 1.4.5 is getting closer, and now the team is "preparing the ground" for what awaits them next year — the project's 15th anniversary.
Re-Logic strives to reach "content ready" status in the next few weeks, after this milestone, work on bug fixes and testing will be carried out.
The developers also shared a spoiler for the update — residents will no longer need a house to appear (if a house has not been built, the NPCs will ask the player about it). They clarified that with the onset of night, all homeless people will go to a safe place.
The release date for the 1.4.5 update for Terraria has not yet been announced, but they made it clear that work is in the "final" stage.
