New content is being prepared for the cubic sandbox.
The developers held a Minecraft Live presentation and talked about the Mounts of Mayhem update.
The game will feature Nautilus — a new underwater mob that can be tamed and used as transport. Its special effect allows you to stop oxygen consumption (but the supply will not be replenished). If desired, the mob can be equipped with armor.
Zombie horses will appear in Survival mode after many years: they will spawn in the savannah and on the plains; the mobs themselves are passive, but they may have hostile riders.
A spear was presented — it can be used both in foot combat and for mounted combat. There are two types of strikes: a piercing attack and a powerful attack that will allow you to knock a rider off a mount.
The release date for the Mounts of Mayhem update for Minecraft has not yet been announced.
