The project is inspired by such well-known games as Stardew Valley, Story of Seasons, and Harvest Moon, and was announced during the summer Summer Game Fest. The game was so well received by the audience that it immediately hit the global wishlist on Steam and is rapidly gaining popularity.
For the Tokyo Game Show, a short, less than a minute long, video with new gameplay excerpts was shown as part of a special version of the show from PC Gamer. But the key news is different: Frozen Way for some reason had to change the name of the game from Farmatic to Farmbotic. This decision seems quite logical, given the pronounced science fiction style of the project.
