Morrowind fans continue to support the game.
The creators of the OpenMW project recently presented the release candidate for version 0.50. The developers are improving various aspects of The Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind.
OpenMW 0.50 improves gamepad support and also prepares a new optional interface adapted for gamepads.
At the same time, regular PC gamers should also appreciate the update, the authors stated:
«Even if you are an avid "mouse and keyboard" enthusiast, you will appreciate the many user interface and game mechanics fixes introduced in this update, as well as the steps to de-hardcode the combat system.»
Currently, the release is intended for testers. It is not yet clear how long the tests will be conducted.
