In July, the developers already conducted beta testing. Visually, Aniimo resembles Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The authors describe it as a "next-generation role-playing game with action elements", where players collect magical creatures in a large open world.
The release date is not yet known, but it has been confirmed that the game will appear on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and mobile devices.
Aniimo is not the only Chinese response to Nintendo's hits. Competition in the genre is becoming increasingly fierce, and the market is getting more and more alternatives to Pokemon.
