WoW Classic fans were once again forced to stand in queues.
Recently, Blizzard opened a free character transfer to the World of Warcraft Mists of Pandaria Classic mega-servers. It was assumed that these servers would be, in essence, "unlimited," but practice has shown that the authors were not ready for such a number of players.
Over the weekend, the flow of those wishing to play turned out to be so large that players in WoW Mists of Pandaria Classic found themselves in queues.
A representative of the WoW Classic team addressed the players and apologized — the developers planned to increase the limit during the upcoming maintenance:
"Fixed, apologies. The new limit was supposed to take effect with the weekly [server] restart, and on Friday we were still far from it. However, there were many more users this weekend. This limit has now been increased, and there will no longer be [such a problem]."
