Nintendo has released system update version 20.5.0 for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. The patch focuses on improving overall system stability, which should make using the consoles more comfortable.
Currently, a detailed list of changes or new features has not been published. The last notable update, version 20.1.0 from May 2025, added visual changes to parental control settings, changed the Nintendo Switch Online startup sound, and enabled support for data transfer to Switch 2.
