Andrzej Sapkowski's "The Crossroad of Ravens" about the young witcher Geralt has been released in Russia. Simultaneously with the paper version from the "AST" publishing house, the novel appeared in electronic and audio formats exclusively on the Yandex Books service.
Currently, the book can be purchased in various places for 752 – 809 rubles. "The Crossroad of Ravens" is Sapkowski's first work about the witcher in the last twelve years.
The novel takes readers back to the early years of the White Wolf's life. Having just finished his training, Geralt leaves the Kaer Morhen fortress. Now his main task is not only to cope with the monsters lurking in the forests and cemeteries, but also to survive among people whose treachery and betrayal can be much more dangerous.
Vsevolod Kuznetsov, whose voice became part of Geralt's image in the cult games and audiobooks of the series, worked on the audio version of "The Crossroad of Ravens". The author of the cover is the artist Sergey Nezhivyasov, who previously worked on the design of the "Masters of Fantasy", "Legends of Horror" and "Masters of Horror" series.
The visual embodiment of the Russian edition was approved personally by Andrzej Sapkowski – the choice of the final version of the cover was his author's decision. The translation into Russian was done by Vadim Kumok, who had already worked on the Witcher universe, becoming the author of the new translation of the novel "Season of Storms".
