Digital Sun has announced a delay in the early access release date for Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault. Originally slated for October 23, 2025, the game will now be released on November 19.
The reason for the delay is quite expected: the release schedule in October turned out to be too crowded. In an official statement, the studio noted: "As every experienced merchant knows, even the most valuable gem can go unnoticed among a crowded display case."
On a positive note, closed tests on PC in Steam and Microsoft Store will begin soon. Details will be revealed later, and the tests will allow players to try out the changes made based on feedback from the demo. The delay may also give the team time to refine the game and improve early access, which will ultimately benefit players.
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5 at launch. The game is planned to remain in early access for as long as it takes. For Game Pass subscribers, the game will be available from day one, but it is worth considering the price increase for the service before subscribing.
