Although a lot of time has passed since the release of BioShock Infinite, the franchise continues, while its creator is working on a new brand — Judas, which will be different from the well-known series.
Recently, an interview with Levine was released on YouTube, where he admitted that he was not going to return to the franchise that started in 2007 and was abandoned in 2014. The developer explained that, despite a certain attachment, he left BioShock because he had realized everything he wanted. Levine also noted that the second part contradicted his ambitions: after completing the first BioShock, he did not want to create a sequel.
Levine said that he prefers to focus on one game. Therefore, he chose Judas — here he has complete creative freedom, and all decisions, comments and responsibility for the product lie solely with him.
