The game from Redemption Road studio launches in Early Access on October 8th and will be available on Steam. In a recent update, the developers revealed plot details.
Players will find themselves in 15th-century Europe, where the protagonist arrives from modern times. His task is to support the uprising of Owain Glyndŵr, the Welsh prince who rebelled against the English crown.
The authors elaborated on the weapon system. Special emphasis is placed on firearms: to penetrate strong steel armor, a caliber much more serious than 9 mm will be required. Larger projectiles are capable of piercing obstacles as well, such as walls. According to the developers, the weapons in Kingmakers are modeled on real-life examples, although manufacturer licenses were not used.
But the battles are not only saturated with the use of automatic weapons. The arsenal includes a bow, crossbow, and melee weapons, such as war hammers. The hero always has a small shield with him, which can be used to cover from blows.
In addition, modern vehicles will appear, including a motorcycle and a car.
