New tactical screens allow you to detail the roles of players in both phases of the match, eliminating the limitations of previous versions. Now, shifting a striker from the flank to the position of an attacking midfielder does not disrupt the automatic operation of the entire defense. A new set of roles for playing without the ball has also been added, and roles in the attacking phase have been redefined.
FM26 will also feature a "visualizer" — an analytical tool that shows build-up statistics, including the percentage of successful passes, tempo, and the effectiveness of transitioning from defense to attack. This will help to more accurately assess the team's style and make tactical decisions during the season.
