Battlefield 6 from EA is only available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Many players are still content with the previous generation, and they are likely to ensure high sales for Black Ops 7.
The ElAnalistaDeBits editorial team checked how the shooter looks on different platforms. PS4 owners were less fortunate—the version for the old console runs at a noticeably lower resolution. The video authors noted that PlayStation 4 is capable of more, but the developers are no longer paying much attention to it.
According to them, the graphical simplifications in Black Ops 7 on PS4 are more significant than in the previous installment. Textures, lighting, and object detail (LOD) have been reduced, and some locations look as if they were taken from another game.
The performance situation is also ambiguous. The console tries to maintain 60 frames per second, but often loses them in combat scenes. The frame rate drops to 50–55 fps, while the PS5 version consistently delivers a perfect 60 fps.
