Someone delved too deep into the map and saw disturbing content.
In early October, an update was released for Counter-Strike 2, in which Valve included several community maps. Russian fans also made their mark with their project, but a problem soon arose.
A couple of days after the release, the Transit map was removed from Counter-Strike 2. Previously, players noted that the map contains easter egg elements that may violate copyright.
There is also another version of the reason for the removal: one of the game assets had a racist name. The n-word was used; one of the map's authors, Rikuda, explained that he simply forgot to rename it before release.
It is not yet clear whether the map will be returned to Counter-Strike 2. Rikuda also does not know if it will ever be possible to upload new maps to the game.
The map was developed over a year by a team of 5 people.
