In November, thanks to the board game "Cryptids: In Search of Mythical Creatures" and two expansions – "Flora" and "Islands", gamers will be able to become cryptozoologists, relocate legendary creatures to the reserve, and discover quite unusual plants.
The publishing house "Stil Zhizni", owned by Hobby World, announced that pre-orders for the board game "Cryptids: In Search of Mythical Creatures", designed for 1-4 people, have opened on the crowdfunding platform CrowdRepublic.
Thanks to the "Early Birds" promotion, the basic version of the board game can now be bought for 3750 rubles (the price will then increase to 3990 rubles). For 1590 rubles, you can purchase the "Flora" or "Islands" expansion, and for 9990 rubles, you can get the "Full Stuffing" set, which contains the game, two expansions, and exclusive deluxe components.
In this project, people will become cryptozoologists who are trying to discover mythical creatures in Europe. The found cryptids can and should be relocated to a common reserve, creating the necessary conditions and earning additional resources.
The game ends when the reserve is completely full. The winner is the one who saved the most legendary creatures. The "Flora" expansion adds amazing plants to the board game. Players will need to complete quests to obtain samples of these plants and transplant them to the right places.
Each successfully grown specimen will bring reputation points and special action enhancement tokens. And thanks to the "Islands" expansion, you can explore new maps, find creatures beyond the sea, and, of course, expand the reserve's collection.
Employees of "Stil Zhizni" will begin distributing the game "Cryptids. In Search of Mythical Creatures" and expansions for it in November 2025.
