Escape from Tarkov continues to inspire other developers.
Another game in the spirit of Escape from Tarkov has recently appeared on Steam. This time, People Can Fly studio, known for Painkiller and Bulletstorm, has made its mark.
The project is called Lost Rift, and it has the mechanics familiar to the genre — extraction and loss of loot upon death.
The novelty is positioned as an "adventure first-person shooter in the survival genre, which combines base building in PvE co-op and a PvPvE mode where only the survivors get the loot."
You can explore the archipelago in Lost Rift alone or as part of a team of up to 5 players. You will have to send raids (expeditions) to unstable islands where you can find valuable resources.
