Escape from Tarkov continues to inspire other developers.
Another game in the spirit of Escape from Tarkov has recently appeared on Steam. This time, People Can Fly, the studio known for Painkiller and Bulletstorm, has made its mark.
The project is called Lost Rift, and it features the mechanics familiar to the genre - extraction and loss of loot upon death.
The novelty is positioned as an "adventure first-person shooter in the survival genre, which combines base building in PvE co-op and a PvPvE mode where only the survivors get the loot."
You can explore the archipelago in Lost Rift alone or in a team of up to 5 players. Raids (expeditions) will be sent to unstable islands where valuable resources can be found.
