Soon, some had complaints about the developers of Mechanicus 2. EvilNando launched a discussion on the Steam forum: "does every playable named character HAVE TO be a woman?". The game began to be labeled as woke (allegedly contains an "agenda").
However, judging by the comments, not all players understand this concern and do not yet see any progressive ideas being imposed anywhere in the demo. Eversor That Coming tried to reassure the dissatisfied:
"Not all playable characters who have a name will be women in the full version of the game, and you know that perfectly well."
