Changes have been made to character movement, making it more responsive by adjusting the pace, and issues affecting the smoothness of the game have been fixed. Weapons have received a rework of recoil for automatic fire, making long-range shots more realistic and enhancing the effect of controlling bursts and single shots.
The sound has been improved: signals will be heard more clearly, and weapons and vehicles sound more distinct. The network code has also been reworked, which has reduced desynchronization and made the time to death more fair.
The innovations make Battlefield 6 the most thoroughly tested project in the series, focused on players, with improved shooting mechanics, movement, and network performance.
