It seems that CD Projekt RED still has plans for V.
Quest Director of Cyberpunk 2077 and Game Director of the sequel, Paweł Sasko, recently spoke with the channel STN工作室.
When asked if players would hear V's story in Cyberpunk 2, Paweł responded evasively: "I can't say much about Cyberpunk 2, but you probably know the answer."
One of the questions concerned the approach to work: what comes first — the character or the storyline? As an example, Paweł suggested considering Judy Alvarez:
"You know, Judy from Cyberpunk 2077.... From the very beginning, we called her a "braindance technician" and that was essentially her entire characteristic. That is, Judy essentially existed in the story as a "braindance technician"...and we like... didn't even work on her hairstyle for the first year."
