The Broken Sword series started in 1996 with the first game, The Shadow of the Templars. The classic quest stood out at the time with its impressive graphics - hand-drawn backgrounds and 3D objects.
Revolution Software has announced that Broken Sword: Smoking Mirror: Reforged, a remaster of the second installment released in 1997, will be released early next year. Platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.
Like the first remaster in the Reforged series, The Shadow of the Templars. Improved graphics, updated character animations, 4K support and clean sound of Barrington Pheloung's original music are promised.
