Battlefield 6 has been released and immediately attracted a huge audience, but the launch was not without its problems. The developers acknowledged the errors and promised compensation to the affected players.
The game started strong — at its peak, there were 747,440 people in Steam, and the queues for servers only confirmed the high interest. But some users encountered errors that prevented the launch of the campaign and multiplayer. Owners of the version in the EA App could not play because the game mistakenly believed that the necessary files were not installed. The community quickly found a temporary solution, but the official patch appeared only a few hours later.
Also, players with the Phantom edition and those who completed the "Path to Battlefield 6" program or participated in the beta test did not receive the promised rewards.
In response, the developers announced that the error has been fixed. All owners of the standard version will receive 12 hours of double experience points and free access to the first season pass. Phantom Edition owners who encountered the bug will be granted access to the second season pass.
