Silent Hill 2 fans were expecting the updated version of the game to receive the "Born From a Wish" DLC. But recent news indicates otherwise.
During a live stream dedicated to Silent Hill 2, actress Salome Gunnarsdottir, who played Maria, admitted that she had not received any notifications from Konami about the development of the DLC. She added that she had nothing to report regarding "Born From a Wish" — which means that no new dubbing for the character is being recorded yet.
Gunnarsdottir clarified: "I even asked Bloober Team if there was any news about the DLC, but I didn't find out anything." These words cooled the enthusiasm of fans — after all, Maria played a key role in the original DLC.
Everything now indicates that "Born From a Wish" is unlikely to appear anytime soon. Without voice acting and confirmation from the developers, work on it does not seem to have started. It remains to wait for official comments from Bloober Team and Konami, if they will be.
