The Legend of Khiimori is often compared to SnowRunner, but instead of trucks, it uses horses. The game will be released in early access on PC on November 4, 2025. After the release of version 1.0, the project will reach PS5, Xbox Series, and Switch 2.
Khiimori is hard to compare to anything else. It's a horse breeding simulator and a game about exploring medieval Mongolia at the same time. There are no battles — weapons are only used for hunting. The player manages their own stable, raises strong and hardy horses, and then goes on journeys across endless plains, mountains, and snowy valleys.
The main goal is to deliver goods and parcels to hard-to-reach places. For example, to deserted villages or snowy settlements in the mountains. To do this, you need to select horses with suitable characteristics: some tolerate heat better, others are resistant to cold and snow.
Judging by the trailer, the game already looks unusual and atmospheric, and the developers strive to convey the spirit of nomadic life and show Mongolian nature in all its glory.
