PopCap Games has released a new trailer for Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted, a full remake of the famous tower defense strategy game. The updated version will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 and other modern platforms, bringing back classic gameplay in a reworked form.
The video shows improved models of plants and zombies, new animations and reworked music, preserving the spirit of the original. Favorite characters will reappear on the screen - from shooting peas to opponents with buckets and doors.
A feature of the Switch 2 version will be support for the GameShare function, which will allow players to share progress and content. The developers are confident that this will add a social element to the project. PopCap has also promised new modes and stable operation at 60 frames per second.
The trailer confirms: Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted combines nostalgia and modernity, bringing the series back in its best form.
