Reakktor Studios is nearing the final stages of developing G-Rebels, a spiritual successor to the classic G-Police. The developers have released a demo on Steam, which can be downloaded until October 20.
The project was first detailed a few months ago, and players have had the opportunity to personally assess the scale of the upcoming action.
The trailer introduces the world of G-Rebels, which covers an area of over 12,000 square kilometers. The events unfold in 2684, when life is centered around the giant megacities of Eden, Daevos, Venice, and Iron Sands. These are highlighted in the new video.
The game will offer piloting futuristic vehicles, patrolling urban areas, and aerial combat. The visual style and atmosphere of the project clearly allude to the PS1 era, using modern technology.
G-Rebels will be released on PC before the end of 2025.
