The zombie shooter The House of the Dead 2 will soon appear on modern platforms. The release date of the console version of the remake is known.
Forever Entertainment has confirmed that PlayStation and Xbox owners won't have to wait long. Several months after the release, an updated version of the 1998 rail shooter will also be released on consoles.
The publisher, together with MegaPixel Studios, announced that The House of the Dead 2: Remake will go on sale on October 24, 2025. The game will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
The remake retains the structure of the original, but offers completely redesigned graphics, support for modern controllers, and updated lighting effects. The game returns the atmosphere of classic arcade halls and dynamic battles with hordes of оживших мертвецов, now in a modern design.
