While players await the release of The Witcher 4, the franchise is literally being taken to a cosmic level.
Recently, CD Projekt RED announced a specific collaboration. Several medallions from The Witcher schools have been in space:
«Thanks to the European Space Agency and the courage of Polish engineer and astronaut Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski, Geralt's (wolf) and Ciri's (lynx) medallions were delivered to the International Space Station. They accompanied Sławosz during the Ignis mission.»
As part of the celebration of World Space Week, ESA and Sławosz returned the medallions to Earth — to the CDPR office in Warsaw.
