Russian studio Madness Studio has presented the first teaser of "Neurobayun", an ambitious "diabloid" in which ancient Russian fairy tale comes to life and reacts to the player.
The full version will be released in the fall of 2026 on Steam and VK Play, where childhood heroes will find a new voice that responds to the user's actions.
The main highlight of the teaser was Kot Bayun, voiced by Boris Repetur - a commentator and actor known for his work on Mafia, Serious Sam, Bioshock, The Witcher, Fallout, Call of Duty, Painkiller and Assassin’s Creed. His unique intonation will fill the character with wisdom and irony.
"Neurobayun" combines action-RPG mechanics with an interactive fairy tale. AI adapts the plot, dialogues and events to the player's actions, creating a unique story with each launch. Characters remember the player's words, emotions and mood, and the world reacts to good and evil deeds.
The project is being created with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives and will become a synthesis of technology and folklore.
