Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can now play Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance for free. A trial version is available from October 16 to 22, 2025, allowing players to experience the scale of the updated jRPG hit.
Vengeance is not just a remaster of the original. This version includes a new story arc, Canon of Vengeance, featuring fresh characters and a previously unseen faction of demons. The ending of the story depends on the decisions made, with multiple endings now available.
Atlus has also improved the visuals: reworked textures, lighting, and faster loading times noticeably update the game. The interface is more convenient, and the performance is more stable-the remaster looks and feels significantly better.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance has already sold over a million copies.
