Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can now play Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance for free. A trial version is available from October 16 to 22, 2025, allowing players to experience the scale of the updated jRPG hit.
Vengeance is not just a remaster of the original. This version includes a new story arc, Canon of Vengeance, featuring fresh characters and a previously unseen faction of demons. The ending of the story depends on the decisions made, with multiple endings now available.
Atlus has also improved the visuals: reworked textures, lighting, and faster loading times noticeably update the game. The interface is more convenient, and the performance is more stable—the remaster looks and feels significantly better.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance has already sold over a million copies.
