In January 2026, with the help of the "Middara: Unintentional Malice. Act 1" board game, featuring 44 miniatures and over 1000 components, Russian-speaking gamers will be able to participate in story-driven adventures, create numerous builds, acquire equipment for characters, and defeat formidable enemies.
Hobby World Publishing announced that pre-orders have started on the CrowdRepublic crowdfunding platform for the large-scale cooperative and adventure board game with JRPG elements, "Middara: Unintentional Malice. Act 1."
Currently, it can be purchased for 19,990 rubles (the "Early Bird" pack can still be grabbed for 19,290 rubles), the "Figure and Character Set" expansion for 3,590 rubles, the "Wrath of Nature: Hunting Set" expansion for 1,590 rubles, and a set with two expansions and the base game for 23,900 rubles.
If the campaign raises 7,000,000 rubles, then each participant will receive the "Sylvia, Cultist of the Dark Mother" hero set for free – with a miniature, tablet, items, and a separate story (the piggy bank already has 5,741,834 rubles, so the stretch goal will likely be reached this week).
This board game is an adventure dungeon crawler for 1-4 people, in which players will be able to acquire a large amount of loot, complete all sorts of story missions, come up with cool builds, learn the secrets of the kingdom called Elenia, and fight monsters.
"Middara: Unintentional Malice. Act 1" should reach pre-order customers in January 2026. The game will be released entirely in Russian, and the Hobby World edition will feature selective varnish on the box and tiles.
The retail price of the project will be 24,990 rubles. In the box, you can find 44 plastic figures, an adventure book (over 480 pages), game rules (over 100 pages), a scenario book (over 40 pages), a scheme book (over 50 pages), a hunting book (12 pages), over 750 cards, 36 double-sided field fragments, 380 tokens, 17 dice, and 40 cardboard figures.
