After several postponements, Sonic Rumble is finally preparing for release — the game will be released in November on PC and mobile devices. The project will offer dynamic multiplayer competitions in an arcade format.
The creators describe Sonic Rumble as the «ultimate arcade royale» — Sega's answer to the popularity of Fall Guys. Players will be able to choose their favorite characters from the Sonic universe and compete in fast-paced mini-games for 32 participants.
The new trailer featured Shadow, Cream, and Excalibur Sonic, as well as a teaser for a set inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog 3.
The developers have confirmed that the game will be released in November on Steam, Google Play and the App Store.
Although the exact release date is still unknown, the team assures that this version will be the most elaborate. After early access tests, the reward and progression system was simplified, the interface was updated, and competition features were added — skills and the ability to create teams with friends.
