Sony has not yet officially shown the updated PS5 Pro, but a detailed analysis of the console has appeared. A video by popular tech blogger Austin Evans shows all the structural and technical changes to the new PS5 Pro.
The company is quietly releasing updated versions of PlayStation 5 Slim and Pro, although there has been no full presentation. First, details of the PS5 Slim were revealed, now it's the Pro's turn.
On the outside, the PS5 Pro is almost indistinguishable from the base model: the black glossy panel remains in place, unlike the matte finish of the PS5 Slim. This may disappoint those who expected visual changes.
Inside, improvements are noticeable: the new Pro consumes less energy, which reduces temperature and fan noise. The console is slightly lighter, and the cooling system works more evenly. According to Evans, the sound of the fan has become more pleasant, although the difference is not huge.
The updated DualSense starts with the console, but there are several drawbacks: the battery is still non-removable, and one of the microphones has been removed, which may affect the quality of voice communication and the operation of commands. The remaining elements of the controller remained the same.
