The game will be released on November 14, 2025. The project will be released on PlayStation 5, PC (on Steam, Windows Store and Epic Games Store), as well as on mobile devices with iOS and Android. The game is free and dedicated to Chinese history and the aesthetics of the wuxia genre — with acrobatic battles and philosophical motifs.
The developers are actively promoting the project and showed a new trailer at IGN Fan Fest. The video does not focus on the plot or combat mechanics — it demonstrates the beauty of the open world, the variety of landscapes and the atmosphere of life in 10th century China.
In addition to battles with strong opponents and historical events, players will find activities that allow them to escape from battles and become part of the local life: fishing, crafts, travel and mini-games.
Everstone notes that constant publications of new videos are having an effect — interest in Where Winds Meet is growing rapidly. The studio hopes that this game will become the largest Chinese MMO release aimed at a Western audience.
