Football Manager 26 will finally receive an official FIFA license — an update fans have been requesting for years. Thanks to the long-term collaboration between Sports Interactive and FIFA, the game will include tournaments with official names and brands, such as the FIFA World Cup 26, FIFA Women’s World Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup.
The 2026 World Cup, which will be held in Canada, Mexico, and the USA, will be fully represented in FM26: all 48 national teams, official team kits, and tournament graphics. This update will be free and released before the start of the competition.
The International Management mode, which allows managing national teams, returns and will be improved thanks to the FIFA license, making the gameplay more realistic.
Football Manager 26 will be released on November 4, 2025, on PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and mobile devices via Netflix and Apple Arcade. This is an important step for the series, which is officially connecting with the world's largest football event for the first time.
